Job summary

NextEra Energy is hiring a Wind Technician III (Entry Level) in the Douglas, WY area. You will be on the front line of wind farm operations, performing field-based maintenance and diagnostics to keep turbines available and safe.

The role involves climbing turbines, following Safety Management System procedures, and collaborating with internal teams. A high school diploma or GED, 0+ years experience, and a valid non CDL driver's license are required; relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or GED required.
• 0+ years experience; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular wind turbine preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities and tooling.
• Applies basic understanding of the technical and process functions.
• Manages own training schedules and meets all training requirements within designated time frames.
