Job summary

EDP Renewables North America is seeking an Intermediate Wind Technician II to join our wind farm team in Moran, KS. This on-site role focuses on wind turbine operations, maintenance, repairs, and safety-compliant equipment replacement at one of our wind energy generation sites.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of wind energy experience, strong MS Office and diagnostic tool skills, and the ability to work in a team environment with安全-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of college or technical school education, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of wind energy or related experience.
• Proficient with MS Office, SQL, facility management and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and associated equipment.
• Proactively look for improvements to processes and procedures.
• Communicate via appropriate channels and implement control-management improvements.
• Coordinate with the Remote Operations Control Center for remote operations when needed.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
