Job summary

Invenergy LLC, North America’s largest privately held developer, owner, and operator of power infrastructure, seeks a Wind Technician for the Rock Creek Energy Center in Wyoming. You will operate and maintain a 190 MW wind facility, ensuring safe, reliable power generation and adherence to company safety standards.

Responsibilities include routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbines, climbing towers, troubleshooting faults, and supporting a clean, organized site with fixed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year technical experience or related education.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbine and associated equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily, wearing all required safety equipment, to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
• Understand electrical and mechanical functions of all components of a wind turbine generator and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair and/or replace components.
• Maintain company tooling, facilities and equipment and a clean safe work environment.
• Work a 40 hour work week and be subject to scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
