Vestas is hiring a Wind Site Technician to ensure reliable operation of our wind turbines. You’ll handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues, contributing to clean energy for local communities, regardless of your background in wind, electrical, mechanical, or heavy machinery sectors.

Qualifications

• Wind technician certificate or wind turbine experience.
• 1 year wind turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Strong problem-solving and safety-conscious mindset.
• Ability to follow instructions in English and work in a team.
• Valid driver’s license and work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities to track task duration and efficiency.
