Job summary

Vestas in Seymour, TX is seeking a Wind Site Technician to ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and address system faults as part of our Field Operations team.

This full-time role requires safety awareness, teamwork, and the ability to work at heights. Training and PPE are provided, with a sign-on bonus offered and a schedule Monday–Friday 7am–3:30pm, with possible overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate for consideration or 1 year turbine experience.
• 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields acceptable.
• Ability to speak/read English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety inspections.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve turbine performance.
• Document work and track task duration for efficiency.
• Perform on-site maintenance in varying conditions.
