Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician to ensure smooth operation of wind turbines at our Colorado site. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot system issues, and address electrical or mechanical challenges as part of a hands-on team.

Qualifications include a Wind Technician certificate (or wind turbine experience) and a high school diploma, with a valid driver’s license and work authorization in the U.S. Strong safety awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate (minimum 6 months)
• 1 year of wind turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work in team environments
• Able to read and follow instructions in English

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team.
• Follow safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with team to improve turbine performance.
• Document work and improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities for tracking and efficiency.
