Vestas in the United States is seeking a Wind Site Technician to ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site repairs with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will work with a collaborative team, receive comprehensive training and certifications (GWO), have access to PPE and equipment, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and clear pathways for career growth within this global leader in wind energy.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions in English.
• Safety-conscious and able to work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and track task duration and efficiency.
