Job summary

Vestas seeks a Wind Site Technician II in West Camp, AZ to ensure smooth turbine operation, handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues, and support energy reliability for local communities. Training is provided, including GWO safety & technical modules, with a focus on teamwork and safety compliance.

The role requires 6 months of wind technician exposure or 1 year in wind turbines or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields, with English proficiency and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate required or 1 year of turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and safety-minded.
• Able to work in teams and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities to track duration and efficiency.
