Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Operations Manager in Otter Creek, IL to oversee service-site operations, ensure safety, optimize performance, and lead a team. You will manage budgets, customer accounts, and coordinate maintenance while driving continuous improvement and accountability across the site.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, technical understanding of wind turbines, and strong communication with clients and internal teams to deliver reliable service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of management experience in a related service field.
• Willingness to work at the service site and travel as needed.
• Technical background beneficial; knowledge of hydraulic or rotating heavy equipment.
• Solid English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

Responsabilités

• Safety leadership and promotion of safety improvements at the site.
• Develop and empower your team to operate and maintain wind turbine plants.
• Establish robust partnerships with clients to guarantee contractual commitments.
• Manage costs to meet budget targets for service contracts.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and diagnostic efforts to improve turbine performance.
• Demonstrate business management capabilities, including fiscal oversight.
• Experience in budgeting and project management.
• Negotiate agreements and ensure customer satisfaction.
