Scatec Vietnam is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support wind farm electrical construction on site. You will join the site electrical team, supervise activities, ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards, and align with the project schedule.
The role offers hands-on exposure to MV/HV systems, transformers, and switchgear, with collaboration across subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain progress.
The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the successful delivery of the wind farm electrical construction scope. Working as part of the site electrical team you will support the Electrical Lead in ensuring that electrical installation activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved engineering documents, specifications, quality requirements and project schedule.
In this role you will supervise and monitor electrical construction activities at the wind farm site ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. Coordinate and follow up electrical installation works including MV cables, transformers, switchgear RMUs, earthing systems, auxiliary systems and turbine electrical interfaces. Inspect and verify the quality of electrical installations and ensure that works are completed according to approved method statements and inspection requirements. Coordinate with subcontractors and construction teams to resolve technical and site execution issues and maintain construction progress. Identify construction issues, technical deviations and interface constraints and support timely resolution with the relevant project teams. Review electrical drawings, layouts, cable schedules, single-line diagrams and technical documents to support site execution.
