Job summary

Mortenson is currently seeking a millwright to dismantle, erect, assemble, align, adjust, and/or maintain machinery and equipment according to installation manuals, work instructions, and blueprints.

Responsibilities include offloading major components, preparing nacelle components, wiring blades to hub, setting bases, handling taglines, and assisting crane assembly/teardown, with climbs up to 80m and basic drilling/tapping of parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, assembly/disassembly, operation and maintenance instructions; strong teamwork and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with active listening and effective communication; open to diverse input and feedback.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
