Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Wind Fleet Engineer - Electrical and Controls to troubleshoot field issues, develop technical solutions for the wind turbine fleet, and support cross-functional teams including engineering and supply chain. The role emphasizes proactive problem solving and collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.

The position includes responsibilities from RCA support to field-improvement projects, with relocation considerations and a discretionary annual bonus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (or high school diploma with at least 6 years experience in similar roles).
  • Strong communication, problem analysis, and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical Engineering Solutions / Repairs / Escalation for issues escalated from Services team.
  • Identify and develop turbine/farm and fleet-level tasks to improve fleet availability and reliability.
  • Develop in-depth troubleshooting knowledge for multiple sub-systems and execute policy/strategy.
  • Contribute to cross-functional technical discussions with new ideas; respond to customer concerns.
