Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation in Lexington, Tennessee is seeking a Winding Technician to ensure a proficient flow of product with quality and safety at the forefront, winding and storing fibrous material as part of daily operations.

You will inspect, test, and document findings, follow established procedures, and collaborate with team members to maintain high-quality workmanship on windings.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of manufacturing experience.

• Test condition of winding according to EASA standards.
• Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable equipment.
• Prepare all reusable parts for rewind and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions.
• Observe proper insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding.
• Administer required daily maintenance on assigned lines.
• Identify and solve problems in fabrication process without compromising quality of product.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing experience.
