Association of Village Council Presidents (AVCP) is seeking a hybrid Transactions Property & Estate Planner based in Bethel, Alaska. This role splits duties between drafting Last Wills and Testament for AVCP’s Trust clients and processing AVCP Realty’s Transactions casefiles.

The position requires navigating BIA policies and Alaska land laws, with travel to regional villages as needed. The successful candidate will handle complex transaction cases, maintain confidential client data, and support

Qualifications

• Requires strong written, verbal and analytical abilities.
• Experience drafting Last Wills and Testament; probate of restricted property.
• Familiarity with land laws in Alaska and BIA policies.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and executes Last Wills and Testament for AVCP’s Trust clients.
• Processes AVCP Realty’s Transactions casefiles.
• Maintains confidentiality of the department and clientele.
• Prepares complex transaction cases in compliance with federal regulations and BIA policies.
• Travels to villages to host Wills Clinics and encourage trust drafting.
• Maintains Wills Clients database and generates routine/ad hoc reports.
