Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Plant Controller in Williamsport, PA, to drive profitability and strategic financial leadership at the plant level. You will analyze variances, partner with management, and lead budgeting and forecasting while ensuring inventory accuracy and robust financial controls.

The role requires a CPA/CMA/CGA-like certification is preferred, a Bachelor’s in accounting, and 5+ years in plant accounting or controlling.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and forecast manufacturing variances to drive smarter decisions.
  • Partner with Plant Management to deliver productivity savings and meet budget commitments.
  • Lead and coordinate plant‑wide budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide financial oversight for physical inventory counts and accuracy.
  • Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and transactions per corporate standards.
  • Develop and maintain cost standards for all products produced.
  • Coordinate the annual Capital Budget, including justification and expenditure control.
  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting and monthly closings for Operations and Corporate Support.
  • Support internal and external audits and strengthen plant performance.

As the Plant Controller, you’ll be a key strategic partner on the management team, helping maximize profitability, strengthen financial performance, and guide the plant toward its goals. You’ll blend analytical expertise with business insight, influencing decisions that directly impact operations, productivity, and long‑term growth. What You’ll Do
