Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Illinois is seeking a Customer Service/Warehouse Staff to support the Will Call department and perform key warehouse duties, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Assist customers in person and over the phone with orders, process payments, and build strong relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1 year of customer service or office support experience (preferred).
• Warehouse or order-pulling experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and simple math.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with order inquiries and product information.
• Accurately process over-the-counter, phoned, faxed and e‑mailed orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Receive and process payments of Will Call customers as well as over the phone (cash, debit, etc.)
• Build strong customer relationships through clear, professional communication.
• Pull, inspect, and pack orders according to quality standards.
• Verify accuracy of orders, label boxes/pallets, and rebox items as necessary.
• Restock products safely and maintain clean work areas.
• Report stock discrepancies and participate in annual inventory.

What You’ll Get To Do

The Customer Service & Warehouse Staff supports customers in the Will Call department while performing key warehouse duties that ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with order inquiries and product information.

• Receive and process payments of Will Call customers as well as over the phone (cash, debit, etc.)

Warehouse Operations

• Pull, inspect, and pack orders according to quality standards.
• Verify accuracy of orders, label boxes/pallets, and rebox items as necessary.
• Restock products safely and maintain clean work areas.

Physical Requirements

Position Pay Range: $17.78 USD - $22.59 USD
