Job summary

Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) seeks a Program Assistant for the Wildlife Trafficking Alliance (WTA) to support administrative, communications, and program activities at our Silver Spring, MD headquarters. The role reports to the Senior Advisor on Wildlife Trafficking and offers a hybrid schedule with at least two days in the office.

The position focuses on coordination, data tracking, partner engagement, and internal/external communications to advance AZA's wildlife trafficking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ,
• BS/BA preferred.
• Previous experience with zoos and aquariums or related organizations is a plus.

• Provide administrative and programmatic support for WTA core operations, including records, action-item tracking, communications, and meeting support.
