Big Blue Bug Solutions in Providence, RI is seeking a Wildlife Technician to provide safe and effective pest control services. This full-time role is 40+ hours per week, typically Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with base pay plus bonus and commission and a company vehicle.

You will conduct inspections, recommend services, document activities, and maintain licenses while following government and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, bachelor’s preferred.
• Prior customer service experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must live within the local service area.
• Ability to use smartphone, tablet, email and a customer database.
• Sales experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide consistent, friendly, high-quality pest control service.
• Conduct inspections for pests and entryways.
• Recommend and provide pest management services per guidelines.
• Inform customers on sanitation, storage and landscaping to reduce pests.
• Prepare written service reports and explain services clearly.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle and equipment per guidelines.
• Keep products secure and ensure on-vehicle inventory for scheduled services.
• Document service activities and submit paperwork as directed.
• Maintain licenses, certifications and participate in training.
• Propose additional services when appropriate.

Job Location: Providence, RI

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Starting Pay: Base + Bonus + Commission

Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent, friendly, and high quality service to clients
• Conduct inspections for pests, pest harborages and pest entry ways
• Determine, recommend and provide required pest management services per government and company guidelines
• Inform customers on how to reduce pest pressures through proper sanitation, storage and landscaping
• Prepare written reports for customers and explain services in a clear and friendly manner
• Operate and maintain service vehicle, and other service equipment, per government and company guidelines
• Utilize, secure and store products and materials in strict accordance with labels, and government and company guidelines
• Ensure required equipment, products and materials are on service vehicle to perform scheduled services
• Document service activities as required and submit paperwork as directed
• Maintain licenses, certifications, and/or registrations as required, and participate in company training as directed
• Propose additional company services to customers as appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Qualifications:

• Prior customer service experience
• Valid driver’s license; driving record that meets or exceeds company minimum requirements
• Applicant must live within the local service area
• Ability to use computer-based technology such as smartphone, tablet, e-mail, and customer database
• Sales experience an asset
• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements
• Experience in the service industry a plus
