Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a pest control technician to perform inspections, treatments, and maintenance for both residential and commercial clients. The role includes installing termite control systems and TAP insulation, as well as assisting with minor construction repairs related to pest damage.

You will communicate clearly with customers, provide guidance on pest control measures, and stay current on industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education.
• Valid driver’s license from resident state is required.
• Licenses and certificates as required by federal/state/local regulations.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to identify pest activity
• Perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients
• Install and maintain termite control systems
• Efficiently install Thermal Acoustical Pest Control (TAP) insulation
• Assist with light construction projects, including minor repairs and replacements related to pest damage
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, ensure satisfaction, and provide guidance on pest control measures
• Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Clean shaven face- for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information in both internal and external settings
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
• Customer-facing experience preferred
