Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, conduct thorough inspections, and determine appropriate treatments. You will work on-site at customer homes and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role emphasizes building relationships with customers, scheduling appointments, and communicating clearly about pest control options. A willingness to learn and adapt to different pests is essential.

Qualifications

• Clean shaven face for safety reasons.
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided)
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills — You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
• Customer-facing experience preferred

• Determine the type of pest infestation and apply appropriate treatments like pesticides and traps
• Provide preventative measures to prevent future infestations
• Adhere to safety regulations and communicate with clients about pest control solutions
• Build relationships with customers and schedule/confirm their appointments
