Job summary

The Department of the Army is seeking a wildlife program manager to develop INRMP objectives and lead habitat management efforts, with staffing across the chain of command for approval.

You will prepare annual budgets and work plans for wildlife, habitat, and sensitive species programs, justifying funding and coordinating personnel, equipment, and materials. The role also includes developing protocols, reports, and annual plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a biological sciences degree with wildlife, zoology, and botany coursework.
• Demonstrated experience in wildlife or habitat management planning and budgeting.
• Experience supervising professional or technical staff in a government or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement INRMP objectives for wildlife and habitat management, enhancement and protection.
• Prepare and execute annual budgets and work plans to support wildlife, habitat, and sensitive species programs.
• Develop protocols, reports, correspondence, and annual work plans.
• Provides oversight of professional and technical workers within the wildlife section.
