Job summary

Fairfield Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) in Lancaster, Ohio, seeks a Conservation/Wildlife Technician for a full-time role. A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in related fields is required. A valid Ohio driver’s license and insurance under the District’s auto policy are needed.

Work hours are 8am–4pm, Monday–Friday, with a ½ hour lunch. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in agriculture, engineering, soil science, forestry, natural resources, environmental science, wildlife management or related field.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and insurable under the District’s automobile policy.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
