Qualifications

• One year of farm equipment operation or forestry-related work.
• Knowledge of maps, safety guidelines, and basic fire reporting.

Responsibilities

• Engages in wildfire suppression and fuels mitigation activities.
• Operates and maintains firefighting equipment.
• Collects forest and fire data using GPS/GIS tools.
• Prepares state and national fire reports.
• Provides training on wildfire preparedness.
• Travels as needed up to 75% during fire season.
