Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-4.
• OR a 4-year degree in Fire Science or related field qualifying for GW-5.
• Experience includes wildland firefighting, engine operation, and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform wildland firefighting work as part of a fire crew.
• Operate fire engine and pump controls and assist on the line.
• Support data gathering on fire weather and behavior.
