Job summary

Responsibilities include circuit design, PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and documentation; collaborate with mechanical engineers; operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers; maintain maintenance logs and calibration records; support system integration and field readiness.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum in electronic design, development and testing, or 10 years to substitute for education.
• Proficiency with electronic design software (e.g. CAD for PCBs), test equipment, and knowledge of electronic circuit theory.
• Experience with systems related to communications, sensors, or power management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems, instrumentation, and control units for wildfire response.
• PCB layout, prototyping, and assembly tasks.
• Testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of electronic equipment to meet specs.
• Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
