Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in electronic design, development and testing.
• Proficiency with CAD for PCBs and electronic test equipment.
• Experience with systems related to communications, sensors, or power management is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and instrumentation for wildfire response applications.
• Perform circuit design, PCB layout, prototyping, and assembly tasks.
• Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate electronic equipment to meet specifications.
• Develop and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on integrated system designs.
• Operate and maintain electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Support integration of components into larger systems and platforms.
• Maintain maintenance logs and calibration records for equipment and labs.
