Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Network Technician Site Lead for the Skywalker program to conduct site surveys, develop BOMs, and lead installation activities. The role requires experience surveying facilities for WIDS security systems, CAD drawing development, and coordinating installation teams.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with travel worldwide as needed to support installations. A Bachelor's degree and TS/SCI with Poly are required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of site survey and system installation experience.
• Three+ years leading technical installation teams in DoD/IC environments.
• WIDS installation practices, structured cabling, and secure facilities knowledge.
• Ability to develop and interpret CAD drawings and site layouts.
• Strong coordination across stakeholders and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to assess facility requirements and installation readiness.
• Develop site survey reports, BOMs, and installation documentation.
• Lead installation teams during WIDS deployment activities.
• Coordinate with Program Management, engineering, and customer representatives.
• Develop and review CAD drawings and site layouts for WIDS installations.
• Ensure installations meet engineering standards, security requirements, and customer specs.
• Monitor progress and resolve field issues to maintain project schedules.
• Report deployment status to Program Management.
• Maintain installation quality, safety, and configuration management at sites.
