Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Guillotine Cutter to join our production team in Duluth, GA. You will set up and operate cutting equipment, monitor output quality, and help move jobs efficiently through the manufacturing process.

Expect to work the 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM shift, Monday through Thursday, with a safety-first approach and adherence to production standards. Taylor offers a comprehensive benefits package and daily pay option.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing/production equipment per job specs and quality standards.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly equipment maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Prepare inks for correct color and consistency.
• Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates and job materials for accuracy.
• Inspect products throughout production to meet quality standards.
• Prioritize jobs with the production team to meet deadlines.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Guillotine Cutter to join our production team. In this role, you will set up and operate production equipment, monitor quality, and help keep jobs moving safely and efficiently through the manufacturing process.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate printing and production equipment according to job specifications and company quality standards
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to support reliable operation
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency
• Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity
• Check plates and job materials for accuracy
• Inspect products throughout the production run to ensure quality standards are met
• Work with the production team to prioritize jobs and adjust workflow as needed to meet deadlines
• Follow all safety requirements for the job and equipment

Your Shift:

2:30 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday - Thursday

You Must Have:

• Ability to set and adjust equipment to required tolerances
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and follow work instructions

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

• Ability to work with very close tolerances
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Strong analytical skills
• Good color discernment
