Job summary

AtWork Group in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Large Forklift Operator to move steel and other materials through an outdoor yard. This role is outdoors about 90% of the time and requires working safely in changing weather conditions.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, increasing to at least $19.00 per hour after full-time hire, with overtime frequently available and schedules Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, Saturdays as needed, typically 6:00 AM–9:00 AM or later.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a large-capacity forklift.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, rainy, or windy conditions.
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays when required.

• Operate a large-capacity forklift to move steel and materials.
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials in the outdoor yard.
• Inspect loads and equipment before moving materials.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.

• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
• Inspect loads and equipment before moving materials
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Assist with other material-handling duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience of operating a large or heavy-capacity forklift
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, rainy, or windy conditions
• Dependable and willing to work overtime and Saturdays when required
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively with a team
