Job summary

United Concrete Products is seeking an experienced Heavy Forklift Operator to support daily operations at our facility. This outdoor role requires safely operating high-capacity forklifts from 36,000 to 55,000 lbs, loading and unloading trucks, and moving materials in yard storage.

You will work with a dedicated spotter, perform pre-operation inspections, monitor forklift performance, and contribute to safe, efficient operations in all weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating forklifts with 36,000 lbs or greater.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Experience loading and unloading commercial trucks.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions year-round.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-capacity forklifts (36,000–55,000 lbs) throughout the facility and yard.
• Load and unload flatbed trucks and other delivery vehicles.
• Transport, stack, and organize materials in yard storage areas.
• Work with an assigned spotter during lifts and movements.
• Assist with general labor tasks in the shop when forklift duties are not required.
• Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections and document findings.
• Monitor forklift performance and report any mechanical issues to maintenance.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and within weight capacity limits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work environment.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate with supervisors, truck drivers, and yard personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist with inventory tracking and material counts as needed.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role that requires operating high-capacity forklifts ranging from36,000 to 55,000 lbs. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, managing yard inventory, and assisting with general labor in the shop as needed. A dedicatedspotterwill be assigned to assist during lifting and transport operations.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday:6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday:6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (as needed)

• Ability to performphysical laborincluding lifting, bending, and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable workingoutdoors in all weather conditionsyear-round
• Strongsituational awarenessand commitment to safety at all times
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Basic understanding ofhand signals and two-way radio communication
• Must pass adrug test and background check
