Sunrise Childrens Foundation in Nevada is seeking a WIC Nutritionist Assistant to support clinic operations under the supervision of the WIC Clinic Supervisor. The role includes nutrition assessments, education, breastfeeding support, and coordinating benefits and orders, with travel to other WIC sites as needed.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, HIPAA compliance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Food & Nutrition.
• Six months of general clerical work experience is essential.
• Six months of customer service in a business is mandatory.
• One year of general clerical or clinical environment experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinic Nutritionist/Supervisor with high-risk WIC clients.
• Teach nutrition classes and prepare educational materials.
• Place Breastfeeding orders and maintain inventory.
• Place Clinic and State monthly orders and perform chart audits.
• Assist with certifications and benefits as time permits; travel to WIC sites as needed.
• Adhere to HIPAA rules and maintain a confidential environment.
