Job summary

VNA Health Group is seeking a part-time WIC Nutritionist to join the Children and Family Health Institute in Middlesex County. You will provide personalized nutrition guidance, connect participants with resources, and deliver education in a welcoming clinical setting.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations while applying your expertise for meaningful community impact. Responsibilities include nutrition assessments, education, and coordinating access to social services.

Qualifications

• BS in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition from accredited Plan IV, V or Didactic Program of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics OR Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Approval from NJ State WIC Office required
• Experience with culturally diverse population
• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Computer experience preferred
• Valid drivers license and Auto Insurance required

Working Conditions/Physical Demand

Busy clinic environment at various locations in the community; ability to carry/lift 40 lbs.; requires setting up tables and chairs; requires transporting supplies and equipment to WIC clinics; responsible for laptop and related equipment.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $26.00 to USD $34.00.
