Job summary

Fulton County Board of Health in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Nutrition Manager in the WIC Division to oversee daily clinic operations and ensure compliant service delivery.

The role provides leadership to staff, guides nutrition education and counseling, and coordinates care plans and certifications for program participants in line with state and federal guidelines; RD licensure may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, food & nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or closely related field from an accredited college/university.
• Four years of nutrition experience, including two years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Some positions may require certification and/or licensure (RD preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site supervision and leadership to program employees.
• Coordinates schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations.
• Provides nutrition education and breastfeeding counseling per guidelines.
• Develops and evaluates nutrition care plans and documents progress.
• Performs anthropometric measures and reviews requests for special foods.
• Delivers group nutrition education and handles participant complaints.
