Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed and/or Dietetic student in accredited program or hours of supervised practice.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to handle sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Collect participant anthropometric data and bloodwork in WIC MIS.
• Provide basic low-risk nutrition education and breastfeeding counseling.
• Document participant assessment and nutrition education per WIC MIS guidelines.
• Select core food packages and document referrals according to CPA2 guidelines.
• Schedule subsequent visits for participants and coordinate with CPAs/CPAA as needed.
