Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties has a full-time opportunity for a Nutrition Aide I in Santa Ana, CA. Entry level position supporting WIC nutritional services, including measurements, education, and client documentation.

The role involves assisting WIC clients, sharing basic nutrition information, and coordinating with the RD/Nutritionist for referrals. Travel to multiple sites may be required; bilingual Spanish skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Entry level position responsible for supporting functions in delivery of WIC nutritional services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to other WIC sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists WIC clients by recording height/weight, dietary intakes, and nutritional information.
• Explains program eligibility and client rights.
• Provides basic nutrition information and referrals to RD/Nutritionist/WNA.
• Maintains client documentation in WIC WISE and conducts nutrition education activities.
