Aurora Health Care WI Float Pool seeks an experienced ICU RN to provide adaptable, high‑quality nursing care across multiple Wisconsin hospitals and units, based on organizational need. Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program completion mandatory.
• RN license issued by state of practice required.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required.
• Minimum 1 year ICU RN experience; 2 years preferred.
• Weekend shifts: 4 per 6-week schedule, Friday 1900– Monday 0700.
• 2 Holidays per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care per standards and procedures.
• Float to multiple care environments within designated Zone and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Lead efforts to support safe patient environment and best patient experience.
• Coordinate care for diverse patient populations across acute-care, outpatient, and clinics.
• Maintain competency to practice in all acute-care facilities within the zone.

Zone 2 WI Resource Team ICU RN

Where You Will Work:

Aurora Health (now part of Advocate Health) WI Float Pool is a multi‑site resource team supporting Intensive Care Units (ICU) care across the Wisconsin division. Float RNs provide adaptable, high‑quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need. Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of ICU RN experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• Weekend Requirement (Friday 1900 – Monday 0700): 4 Weekend Shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holiday Requirement: 2 Holidays per year

What You’ll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities include:

• Providing safe, therapeutic, evidence‑based nursing care in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Demonstrating adaptability by floating to multiple care environments within a designated Zone, integrating quickly into new departments, and collaborating with diverse teams
• Leading efforts that support the safest patient environment and best possible patient experience
• Coordinating care for diverse patient populations within various acute‑care, hospital outpatient departments and clinic settings
• Maintaining the competency required to practice in all acute‑care facilities within the designated zone
