Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Wi‑Fi Power and Performance Engineer for the Platform Architecture group in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on delivering power and performance data for shipping Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth solutions and informing future directions.

You will work with a team to measure and analyze Wi‑Fi and BT power usage on consumer devices, contributing to product quality and user experience. The role requires hands‑on testing, data processing skills, and deep knowledge of RF concepts.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience operating wireless test equipment such as Octoscope/Spirent or Keysight Wi‑Fi UXM.
• Experience gathering power time series traces for Wi‑Fi power dashboards and RF performance use cases (scan, transmit, receive, RvR).
• Experience with modern smartphone and laptop/portable wireless architecture, from AP to Antenna, for Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, NFC.
• Experience with black box testing on consumer samples.

Responsibilities

• Operate industry standard and in‑house wireless test equipment.
• Gather Wi‑Fi power timelines using our in‑house DAQ.
• Work in a lab environment with other wireless power/performance engineers.
