Job summary

Stellantis is offering a WHS internship based in Kokomo, IN, with assignment across key wellbeing, health, and safety processes at a manufacturing plant. The role emphasizes hands-on audits, training support, data analysis, and regulatory inspections in a real production environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by Spring 2027.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Willingness to work in-person at a Kokomo, IN-area manufacturing plant, as applicable.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing and able to work in a manufacturing plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation and administration of standardized Wellbeing, Health, and Safety processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations, as well as Stellantis policies.
• Work closely with plant WHS teams and gain exposure to safety audits and assessments, training programs, and regulatory inspections.
• Contributing to WHS improvement projects and initiatives aligned with SPW and OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Assisting with safety reporting, documentation, and regulatory inspections.
