Shepherd is hiring a Head of Wholesale Underwriting to launch and scale a new wholesale business, shaping product strategy and broker partnerships across E&S lines. You will define appetite, lead product line leaders, and ensure profitable performance with capacity partners.

The role requires 12+ years in wholesale E&S, strong leadership, and deep broker networks. Travel ~25% and a bachelor’s degree are expected. This position is based in multiple U.S. offices including LA and NYC.

Competenze

12+ years in the wholesale and E&S commercial P&C market with leadership roles.
Proven track record building or scaling a wholesale business or channel.
Deep relationships with national and regional wholesale brokers.
