Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Wholesale Fashion Sales Assistant to support senior sales executives with daily activities, orders, and showroom operations in New York. You will coordinate with buyers at Saks and Neiman Marcus, manage merchandising tasks, prepare line sheets, and analyze sales data to improve wholesale performance.

A bachelor’s degree in Fashion or related field is preferred, with 1–2 years in wholesale fashion.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to the Account Executive with daily sales activities and customer service initiatives.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with buyers and assistant buyers at key retail accounts.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently, including order entry, purchase orders, and EDI transactions.
• Communicate with retail partners regarding important deadlines, order updates, and other time-sensitive matters.
• Photograph merchandise for sales appointments, line sheets, and sample shipments.
• Organize and track showroom samples while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Support seasonal market preparation, including showroom organization, merchandise presentation, and setup for customer visits.
• Attend showroom meetings and document key discussion points and follow-up items.
• Coordinate the preparation, shipment, and tracking of market materials and samples for retail customers.
• Create and update Excel spreadsheets to monitor upcoming purchases, sales activity, and inventory levels.
• Assist with basic sales reporting, retail analysis, and calculations.
• Keep brand inventory records and seasonal reference books current.
• Compile and distribute weekly selling reports using data from retail partners.
• Contribute to additional sales department projects and initiatives as needed.
