Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is assisting a leading multi-brand fashion wholesale company in New York that is seeking a Wholesale Fashion Sales Assistant.

This role supports sales, merchandising, and administrative tasks for men’s brands carried by Saks and Neiman Marcus. You will work closely with senior sales executives to coordinate seasonal business, maintain account relationships, and ensure smooth day-to-day wholesale operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of wholesale fashion industry experience.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset with initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and stay organized.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced office.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to the Account Executive with daily sales activities and customer service initiatives.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with buyers and assistant buyers at key retail accounts.
• Process orders accurately including order entry, purchase orders, and EDI transactions.
• Communicate with retail partners regarding deadlines, order updates, and time-sensitive matters.
• Photograph merchandise for sales appointments, line sheets, and sample shipments.
• Organize showroom samples and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support showroom market preparation and setup for customer visits.
• Attend showroom meetings and document key discussion points and follow-up items.
• Coordinate shipment and tracking of market materials and samples for retail customers.
• Create and update Excel spreadsheets to monitor purchases, sales activity, and inventory levels.
• Assist with basic sales reporting, retail analysis, and calculations.
• Keep brand inventory records and seasonal reference books current.
• Compile and distribute weekly selling reports using data from retail partners.
• Contribute to additional sales department projects as needed.
