Job Description:

Title: Wholesale Sales Assistant

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

The Wholesale Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Salesman, addressing customer requests, and overseeing order flow through the system.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to executives.
  • Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies.
  • Data entry will be a big part of your role for the first 5 months while we get set up in our new systems and order process flow.
  • Assist in creating sales material for sales preparation and success.
  • Write customer orders to be processed by the Operations Team.
  • Follow up with shipments and deliveries for accounts to ensure goods are on time.
  • Prepare available to sell and account on order reports by month.
  • Prepare sales recaps and follow up with buyers as needed.
  • Prepare and send picture packets and line-sheets for accounts.
  • Follow up with customer inquiries and issues.
Skills:
  • Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in written communications.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in file management and organization.
  • Experience in office management and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to provide personal assistant support to sales managers.
  • Strong calendar management skills to schedule appointments and manage deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite for document collaboration and communication.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational abilities. The ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion is essential.
