Job summary

Sweet Apparel Inc. in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team and support sales operations.

This on-site role focuses on order entry, tracking, and client communications to ensure timely delivery for apparel wholesale customers. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in sales support or related admin roles, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and CRM platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or related administrative role (apparel/wholesale industry ideal).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM platforms; strong Excel skills and data literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support account managers with order entry, tracking, and follow-up.
• Communicate with customers/buyers on order status, availability, and pricing.
• Maintain and update sales reports, open order reports, and account records.
• Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Assist with preparing buy sheets, line sheets, and sales presentations.
• Help resolve order discrepancies, invoicing questions, and customer inquiries.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales team.

Position Summary

We are growing and currently seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team and support our sales operations. This position is ideal for someone with a couple years of relevant experience who’s ready to take on more responsibility in a fast-paced apparel/wholesale environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about their work, highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Please note: this is an on-site position in Midtown Manhattan where we work in office 5 days/week!

Target compensation for this role starts at $60k dependent on experience.
