We are privately held, HQ in NYC with brand offices in CA — a dynamic portfolio of global brands committed to operational excellence in design, product development, production, sourcing, distribution & logistics. With category expertise in full‑collection menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, infant toddler; we specialize in denim, outerwear, activewear, loungewear/sleepwear, trusted by top retailers.

About the Role

The Wholesale Planning Analyst – Sales and Inventory plays a critical dual role within the Dickies business, sitting at the intersection of product strategy and retail performance. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end seasonal buying process for our trend-forward product assortment, while simultaneously monitoring, reporting and driving in-season retail sales performance for a dedicated subset of key accounts. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role with direct impact on seasonal profitability, SKU productivity, and long-term account growth.

How You’ll Contribute

Seasonal Buy Management: You will manage 20% of the business that represents our freshest, trend-forward styles. Serving as the ultimate bridge between Sales, Merchandising, and Production, you will ensure we maximize SKU counts, consolidate buys efficiently, and protect our margins. This is a highly visible role that directly impacts product adoption rates and seasonal profitability.

Collaboration with Sales Team and Organization of Seasonal Unit Buys
  • Own the seasonal order-intake process by pulling together all sales orders for a given fashion/seasonal window.
  • Consolidate and aggregate multi-channel sales data into a master file to cleanly summarize unit buys by style and color.
  • Lead and facilitate topline Seasonal Buy Review meetings with cross-functional leadership.
  • Evaluate styles based on Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), internal margin thresholds, and overall brand strategy to recommend whether a style should be greenlit for production.
  • Act as the central communicator to Sales and Merchandising regarding any leadership-driven changes, cancellations, or updates to the seasonal line.
Margin Management & Assortment Optimization
  • Collaborate with the Production and Leadership teams to secure final margin approvals before orders are placed.
  • Build, finalize, and hand off the official master buy template to the Production team for execution.
  • Conduct post-buy recaps to analyze productivity and performance.
  • Track and report on the SKU Adoption Rate (placed vs. not placed) to provide actionable insights for future merchandising and sales strategies.

Retail Sales Performance Management In this workstream, you will own in-season retail analytics for a defined subset of accounts, working hand-in-hand with Sales Representatives to analyze business performance and identify growth opportunities. Through structured training and day-to-day collaboration, you will develop a strong foundation in retail analytics and become a trusted resource for both internal stakeholders and external account partners.

Account Sales Performance & Business Reviews
  • Partner directly with assigned Sales Representatives to analyze the performance of their retail accounts on an ongoing, in-season basis.
  • Leverage SPS Commerce and Retailer Portals to access, interpret, and present point-of-sale and inventory data from a retailer perspective.
  • Evaluate business performance across key dimensions including style selling, location-level selling, sell thru and overall account productivity.
  • Provide structured feedback to accounts on opportunities to grow the business
  • Identify underperforming styles, locations, or categories and develop actionable recommendations for in-season course correction.
  • Develop and maintain recurring reporting cadences to keep Sales and Merchandising informed of account-level trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives to translate in-season learnings into go-forward business strategies for future seasons.
  • Help build the analytical framework and storytelling used in account planning and line review conversations.
What you Bring to the team
  • 1-3 years experience in whole or retail businesses, preferably apparel
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfort working with large data sets across multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience building and managing master files and pivot-based reporting
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills — ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable stories for leadership and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Health Benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision)
