Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Wholesale Planning Analyst to join our forecasting team in New York. You will partner with senior planners to develop financial plans by brand, account, and product category, and to manage account-level forecasts and in-season projections.

You will analyze trends, bookings, shipments, and performance to drive informed decisions, and prepare weekly to seasonal reporting packages for stakeholders across Sales, Merchandising, Production, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or related field
• 3–5+ years in wholesale planning, merchandising, forecasting or analytics
• Wholesale apparel experience preferred
• Experience managing financial plans, forecasts and performance analysis
• Strong merchandising, forecasting, retail math and wholesale drivers understanding
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with planning systems, BI platforms and reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Planner to develop annual, seasonal, and monthly financial plans by brand, account, and product category
• Manage account-level forecasting and in-season business projections
• Analyze trends, bookings, shipments, and account performance to support informed business decisions
• Develop, maintain, and enhance weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting packages
• Monitor and analyze key business metrics including sales, bookings, margins, productivity, and account performance
• Support planning activities across key wholesale customers
• Build partnerships with Sales, Merchandising, Production, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
