Job summary

Verus Mortgage Capital is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead and develop a National Account Executive team focused on non-Agency wholesale mortgage products. You will drive new business, manage broker relationships, and oversee the end-to-end loan process with cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep knowledge of mortgage industry regulations. This is a remote, full-time position with a base salary of $75,000 plus performance

Qualifications

• Must have recent/current experience in non-Agency mortgage sales, including prior experience leading or managing a sales team.
• Recent team or individual average monthly funded non-Agency volume of $2m/month or greater preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Staying updated on mortgage industry regulations and building broker relationships are valuable assets

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of National Account Executives, setting performance goals and monitoring progress against targets.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and provide ongoing development to National Account Executives.
• Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones to review performance, pipeline, and broker relationships.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing Mortgage Brokers.
• Oversee end-to-end loan applications with brokers and internal teams.
• Ensure team compliance with mortgage regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to refine strategies.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities in the non-Agency wholesale sector.
• Actively drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.
