Job summary

Customized Energy Solutions (CES) is seeking an experienced Analyst, Wholesale Energy Services – Midwest Region to support our wholesale electricity market consulting and operational services, with a primary focus on the MISO market.

The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in deregulated electricity markets and will work directly with CES wholesale generation and load-serving clients.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience in deregulated or organized wholesale electricity markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering/economics/math/statistics/finance).
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate generation scheduling, reporting, and related operational activities for wholesale generation clients.
• Review and analyze MISO settlement statements and submit settlement disputes when appropriate.
• Develop settlement reports, monitoring tools, models, and analytical resources for clients.
