Job summary

ColourPop, part of Seed Beauty, seeks a Wholesale Demand Planner to own forecasting and inventory planning for wholesale channels. You will translate POS trends and promotions into accurate demand plans to optimize product flow across accounts.

You will collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations to align launches, replenishment, and promotional forecasts, while monitoring forecast accuracy and refining methods.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of demand planning experience in beauty/CPG.
• Experience forecasting high SKU counts for mass-market accounts.
• Strong Excel skills with data-driven recommendations.
• Familiarity with retailer portals is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, statistics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build monthly demand forecasts for wholesale, considering POS data and seasonality.
• Own CDP inputs for accounts and align with Supply Planning.
• Analyze retailer POS/inventory to spot at-risk SKUs and reorder needs.

• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; refine forecasting methods.
• Support seasonal and NPD launch planning and initial sell-in quantities.
• Prepare regular reporting on account demand trends, risks, opportunities.
• Flag chargebacks or fulfillment risks tied to forecast accuracy.
• Track competitive and category trends to inform planning assumptions.

• This position will be onsite in Sherman Oaks 4-5 days/week.

The Role

The Wholesale Demand Planner will own demand forecasting and inventory planning for ColourPop's wholesale channels. This role sits at the intersection of sales, supply chain, and retail operations - translating POS trends, retailer forecasts, and promotional calendars into accurate demand plans that keep product flowing without overstocking or stockouts.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain monthly demand forecasts for wholesale, incorporating POS data, sell-through trends, seasonality, and promotional activity
• Own the Consolidated Demand Plan (CDP) inputs for your accounts and partner with Supply Planning to ensure alignment between demand and supply
• Analyze retailer POS and inventory data to identify at-risk SKUs, chase opportunities, and reorder needs
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations teams to align on launch quantities, replenishment, and promotional forecasts
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias by account and SKU, and continuously refine forecasting methodology
• Support seasonal and NPD (new product development) launch planning, including initial sell-in quantities and reorder cadences
• Prepare regular reporting and insights for leadership on account-level demand trends, risks, and opportunities
• Flag and help resolve chargebacks, compliance issues, or fulfillment risks tied to forecast accuracy
• Track competitive and category trends to inform planning assumptions

What You'll Bring

• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, ideally in beauty, CPG, or a related consumer goods category
• Direct experience forecasting high sku count for mass market accounts and Ulta strongly preferred; familiarity with retailer portals (e.g., Target Partners Online, Ulta vendor portal) a plus
• Strong Excel skills required; experience with ERP or planning systems (e.g., NAV, demand planning software) a plus
• Comfortable working with large datasets and translating them into clear, actionable recommendations
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills - this role works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple account forecasts simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, statistics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
