Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced Wholesale Credit Risk Loan Loss Forecasting Associate within the Commercial & Investment Bank Risk organization in New York. You will influence loan loss estimates spanning over $1 trillion in client exposure, delivering high-quality analytics and insights to inform quarterly allowances and stress testing.

You will partner with Risk, Finance, and senior leadership to translate complex modeling outputs into actionable recommendations, shaping methodology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience within the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with Commercial and Industrial and Commercial Real Estate loans and lending-related commitments.
• Knowledge of CECL credit loss accounting standards.
• Knowledge of the CCAR regulatory framework and stress testing requirements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for senior management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review top-level and loan-level allowance and stress testing results for reasonability, accuracy, and alignment with portfolio trends.
• Assess risks and support estimation of qualitative loan loss reserves, incorporating management judgment, industry data, and emerging or idiosyncratic risk factors.
• Calculate, analyze, and communicate modeling parameters (PD, LGD, EAD, rating migration) into actionable loss estimates.
• Develop and deepen expertise in allowance and stress testing estimation processes (CECL and CCAR).
• Participate in portfolio trend and sensitivity analyses across macroeconomic scenarios and stress tests.
• Prepare and present materials to senior management and firmwide stakeholders.
• Collaborate across lines of business and with partners in Corporate Finance, External Reporting, Quantitative Research, Model Risk, and Technology.
