Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dependable Team Member to assist in supervising the Whole Body department, maintain floor layouts, and support the Team Leader to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include supervising tasks, training, ensuring product quality and rotation, opening/closing duties, and adhering to health, safety, and SOPs.

A commitment to WFM standards and a positive store image is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Whole Body Team Members.
• Trains Team Members with the Whole Body Trainer to build a high-performance team.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using checklists and training materials.
• Monitors product quality, freshness, and rotation.
• Maintains spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep logs.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to leadership.
• Arrives on time, groomed, ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
